Anybody made one and how did it go? Pics?
DD2 is not a fan of cake, so have said I’ll have a shot at an ice cream cake. So many recipes out there, but how to know which will actually work. I’ve only got one shot at this given it’s for birthday lunch!!!
I was thinking of making brownie in a spring foam tin, then a freezing a couple of disks of ice cream in the same tin.
Then layer biscuit base, ice cream, brownie, ice cream then sauce on top - assembling at the last min.
All recipes seem to freeze the whole thing, but surely you then have a rock hard brownie layer??!?
