Selling empty house.

How long roughly does it take to complete a sale of empty house in Surrey, where buyers are first time and have mortgage offer.

It cold be done in as little as 6 weeks but this is rarely the case. Our mortgage alone took 4 weeks, even with an offer in principle they'll need to do the application. More realistically it would be at least 2 months.

I’d think the same.

Ours took 3 months. Bought an empty house and we were living with in laws. All ready to go. It was the sellers solicitor that slowed us down. Our mortgage and solicitors were ready in six weeks
