Smart TV recommendations under £400?

So having managed without a TV for most of lockdown I've now decided to treat myself! Any recommendations? My previous one (left with the ex) was a Samsung 40in (but quite old so I'm not up on what features new ones have) so something around that size would be good. Any makes to avoid? Features that are good? I'll also have a look at Which reviews but I always get good advice here too!

As you mentioned your budget, you will get an FHD tv easily. But as a proud owner of a cheap 4k tv, I must say the differences are something for which you should pay some extra.
