Where do you get your reading glasses?

I wear contacts but sometimes need reading glasses for small print. I had a lovely pair from a Laura Ashley which I managed to sit on. The ones I have seen today seem quite dull in comparison. Do you know a website or should I just go to opticians? Where did you get yours?

Charity ship-new stock. They’re a pound each and I have multiple pairs which, as you found, get sat on, lost, left. I got a proper pair from opticians and my sight is definitely better in them... but I lost them and it wasn’t 170 times better, which is what they cost.

Glasses direct, very reasonable prices and usually have offers on

Sight direct £15 a pair

Thanks - I must admit I have a few Poundland pairs - I lose them and break them. I need them in every bag and room .

www.sightstation.com. I already had a pair from there, needed stronger ones (thank you, aging!). I like these because they are small enough to look over the top of them, channeling my best Maggie Smith!

Vision express, I had an eyesight test, reading glasses made up and insurance for £35. The cheap ones give me headaches.
