Where would you go for your ideal luxury/romantic/relaxing holiday?
Has to be warm and sunny.

The Maldives 😍

Do you just want to sit on a beach or do you want to sight sea? If the latter then I’d recommend Antigua.

SuperFairy · 27/07/2020 01:31

See not sea 😂

Depends on your idea of luxury.

Big fancy resorts leave me cold, I like basic/rustic places to stay. Much prefer a beach hut than a 5 star.

What are you looking for? Five star international cuisine and entertainment or wildlife on your doorstep?

I would say the Seychelles, or my current favourite place- Gozo.

@whatelsecouldibecalled that was were we honeymooned 10 years ago. So lovely and relaxing there. I 2nd Elderado seaside suites, especially the swim up rooms which were just fantastic!

Tahiti or the Maldives. Went to maldives just before lockdown - had always resisted and wasn’t sure. Absolutely blown away by marine life / snorkelling/ water sports / relaxation. Stunning. Careful with island choice - very different experiences - do research !

For a family or couple?

We went to Sardinia for our honeymoon and it was the perfect blend of beaches and sightseeing.

(I hate flying though so I'm happiest with a 3-4h flight at most)
