On Facebook.. sold "as seen" in picture with "limited stock." Not a business, just some random person....

How much would you pay for this doughnut box?

I bet it is in sale for £10. I wouldn't buy it as I think it all looks pretty rank and stale

CinnabarRed · 26/07/2020 19:24

That’s so unhygienic Envy

DobbyTheHouseElk · 26/07/2020 19:24

Yuck, I wouldn’t.

BrieAndChilli · 26/07/2020 19:24

Well those donuts are the 4 for a £ supermarket ones so £1.50
Pack of Oreos 50p
Half a pack of mini marshmallows 50p
Hippo things £1 a pack
Other sweets choc probably £1-2

So £5.50 at the most!!

Holothane · 26/07/2020 19:25

I wouldn’t donuts need to be eaten the or next at the least.

Thesearmsofmine · 26/07/2020 19:25

Nothing it I’m guessing they are selling it for £10ish. They look like mini donuts!

Marmaladey · 26/07/2020 19:25

These boxes give me the shivers. They are all over the place in lockdown, just a load of supermarket stuff shoved in a box today and sold for a fortune. All looks stale. It's all touching each other with no protection. It looks grim.

I didn't even know I had this issue with things touching each other until lockdown.

Apolloanddaphne · 26/07/2020 19:25

Is it some shop bought doughnuts, some Oreos and a pile of sweets in a box? I wouldn't buy something like that at all. It is weird. If I wanted a doughnut I would buy some at the supermarket.

SandieCheeks · 26/07/2020 19:25

How bizarre!

I’d probably pay a fiver at a school fair but not from a random off Facebook.

bushby · 26/07/2020 19:26

It looks unhygienic but I'd guess they're asking £10

Alloverthegrapevine · 26/07/2020 19:27

I've seen a few post like this on MN but not at all IRL. I can't imagine anyone paying anything for it. If I want 4 donuts and some biscuits/sweets, I can get them easily with the rest of my shopping. Who is buying (or selling) them? Is there some sort of story behind it?

SpeedofaSloth · 26/07/2020 19:27

I wouldn't buy it, it doesn't look very hygienic.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 26/07/2020 19:27

Why would anyone want to buy that box of shite?

VettiyaIruken · 26/07/2020 19:27

I wouldn't eat those if they paid me! Donuts loose in a box like that offered by some random on FB? Not bloody likely!

CherryCocktails · 26/07/2020 19:27

Well it's yours for the bargain price of £13! Shock

Surely the doughnuts will be dry and the biscuits soggy. They shouldn’t be stored together. Too many people with time on their hands. How much are they flogging them for?

HelpMeh · 26/07/2020 19:29

I wouldn't pay for it, it looks disgusting. Those donuts must be dry as a bone and germ-ridden.

LittleHootie · 26/07/2020 19:30

I wouldn't touch it, the doughnuts floating round on sweets, yuck. A local cafe is selling afternoon tea boxes. Pork pies tucked in beside cream scones, sandwich on top of a cherry bakewell. Carnage.

Hatscats · 26/07/2020 19:30

😂😂 looks awful

HelpMeh · 26/07/2020 19:30

I didn't even spot the naked oreos. What is this madness?

TheCanyon · 26/07/2020 19:31

What's with the half oreo?

I was expecting a box like krispy creme, not an actual box Grin That's uh, special

Rainingallweek · 26/07/2020 19:32

Given I've just seen something like this advertised with just sweets as a 'weekend munchies box' at £10 for a small box and £20 for a big box.... it's probably at least 20. In the ones I saw the £20 big box probably had about £2 of pick n mix in it total. Really do not know who buys these things.

GameSetMatch · 26/07/2020 19:34

The box just looks like a standard box, who buys this crap!

Marmaladey · 26/07/2020 19:34

The savoury ones make me squick just as much.

How much would you pay for this doughnut box?
CherryCocktails · 26/07/2020 19:37

How do they get away with it?
