In the very distant past, I used to get told a lot that I looked like Kate Bush. (I
also was once told I looked like Johnny Mathis but that's not a memory I choose to cherish).

I do have a brother, we don’t look at all alike. He does have a minor claim to fame, he was on the oneshow black cab quiz 😂

My work colleagues always said I was like the female in Dempsey and Makepeace.
I also once snuck into the back stage of a concert because someone thought I was Leanne Rimes 😂

When Evanescence had their only first big hit, "Bring me to Life", in 2003, everyone would ever met me thought I was the lead singer. I was working abroad at the time - I am a performer, though in a different genre, and at the time I was working as a dancer, and I used to get tourists whispering "it's her, it's her!" before asking for my autograph. Friends from home rang me up to ask why I hadn't told them I'd joined a band.

I didn't see the resemblance then and I don't see it now!

When I was younger I was told Martine McCutcheon, but that was before I got ugly. Now more like a bulldog, but I’m working on it.

I used to be told I looked like Cher when I was younger, specifically when she was in the film Moonstruck.

Not any more, but about twenty years ago someone shouted out on Deptford High Street that I looked like J.Lo. I was probably paler than J. Lo, but I could see it. Unfortunately she has definitely aged better than I have!

I’ve been told I look like Jodie Foster, one of the people who told me this was the actor Paul McGann, he said he had met her and I looked just like her.

Steve Martin (I'm all nose and smile). I'm a woman, if that matters. No but I really am morphing into him as I age.

Ok but in reality, Hilary Swank. I got that for years and years and years. She still looks like Hilary Swank. I don't.
When I was in high school, Jami Gertz. I got told I looked like her a lot back then. It was the 80s. She was in all the right movies. I was beyond flattered.

As a teenager I was told all the time that I looked like Avril Lavigne. I don’t know what she looks like nowadays to compare though. I guess we were both overly skinny, pale, blonde and emo 😂

Gwyneth Paltrow or Taylor Swift although I really don't see it myself. I'm thinking I look more like Vicky Pollard from Little Britain

I currently look like an old Paula Yates. DD1 looks like Jodie Foster in Candleshoe. My boss looks like a young Oliver Reed (he’s so young he didn’t know who I was talking about when I asked him to say “you come ‘ere Bullseye” in a cockney accent).
My DF looks like Mr Fredricksen in Disney’s Up or Ronnie Barker. DMIL is also a dead ringer for Theresa May. We could probably start our own agency thinking about it!!!

My son is the spitting image of Zac Efron.

My DH was v like Sean Penn when they were both a lot younger. DH has aged better now tho, and the resemblance has gone. He also looks uncannily like Father Ted.

I’ve been told by several people when I was younger Kate Beckinsale (I bloody wish). I also had Bjork and Sarah Silverman (lower face apparently), Charlie chaplin’s niece on the forehead (..?) but I only see a resemblance with Gary Oldman myself 😂
