WiFi and internet phone

I'm furloughed at the moment but will be wfh from the beginning of August. Now that DD has gone back home, I'm going to be relocating my 'office' from the dining room table to her bedroom. We use internet phones at work which needs to be plugged into the router. However the router is downstairs and I cannot move it upstairs. What kit do I need to get to be able to use the phone over the internet? I was thinking perhaps a WiFi extender with an Ethernet cable socket would work but I'm not sure?

That's similar to the kit I was looking so hopefully the one below should work and is £10 cheaper. I only need the one port to plug the phone in, so I think this should do.
