Hi I was told on the 23-6-20 that there was no heartbeat I was absolutely heartbroken I've had two normal healthy pregnancy s and then this happened I passed the baby on 5-7-20 and did a pregnancy test 3 weeks later which is today and it has a faint positive can anyone shed some light please as me and my partner want to try again for another baby xxx

Sorry for your loss. I've had a few miscarriages and it can take a number of weeks for all hcg to leave your body. With my last one, I was still getting a faint positive at 4 weeks post mc and I had a scan to make sure everything was gone and it was and within another week I was getting a negative. I was told that I'd get a period when all the hcg was gone which was about right as i had a period 5 weeks post mc last time. For one of my miscarriages, it was 7 weeks so it can be a bit longer. I would give it another week or so and hopefully it will turn negative.

It took 5 weeks for my test to become negative xx

Thank you for the advise I'm going to wait till next Sunday then do another test and see what's what
