How’s Your Saturday Going?

Lovely & sunny here now after a very wet & dull start. DH cooking tea as DD got in a strop & refused to do it. She’s usually moody for the first few days of the holidays. Worse this time as she finished year 6 & they missed out on so much. The rabbits are enjoying their new “ digging pit’ which is filled with biodegradable bedding, hay & some hidden treats. I should have cleaned the bathroom. Have so much to do including putting away piles of clothes, hoovering upstairs, trying to sort the laminate flooring & making DD’s room less of a health hazard! Depending on the weather we may go to the beach tomorrow ☀️☀️☀️😎😎😎🍦🍦🍦

Not too bad.
Dog walked before the rain started.
Played with our new caravan to familiarise ourselves with eveything before going to a site and looking like idiots 😁
Had lunch
It was pouring so watched a film
Then went to the garden centre to get shrubs for the garden, planting tomorrow.

Pretty good. DCs woke about 8am. I went shopping for a few things for a barbecue were having tomorrow. DH took the children to the park. We all cleaned and tidied the house for once. TV, board games, dinner, baths

Can't complain. Done shopping and housework. Already dined. Got some piano practice in. Going to pub soon.

Sad about Peter Green.

Raining outside and explosive diarrhea inside!

I have assembled an IKEA bed (Stor°a) with DD, bought the matress, luggged it up 102 steps and helped her move her things back in.
I count this as exercise.

We are adjusting our flat from "2 adults 2 children" to "4 adults".
Now I have a place full of stuff that needs to go to the recycling yard, and boxes full of toys she no longer wants to keep (sentimental value is gone - what do you do with a box full of Polly Pockets or IKEA doll house furniture).

Been good. DH built a wall around the new pond whilst I did chores inside and cooked a Spaghetti Bol for later.
Then sat outside listening to our favourite Saturday afternoon radio - Rylan followed by Liza Tarbuck.
Got a name check on Liza's show after DH emailed in.
Happy days! Grin

Quite a relaxed day. It was my birthday Smile Bacon bap in bed for breakfast. Played in the garden with the kids. Curry for tea. Then all watched The Commitments.

Laaaazy day. Procrastination central. Watched 'The Bridges of Madison County" and "Fried Green Tomatoes " and ate some crisps.

Productive day here.
Walked to town and did some shopping. Cooked a delicious full English for 8 people. Walked the dogs, went to the park, tidied and cleaned upstairs. Did the washing and ironing. Read stories to dc. Started on a job application. All in all a successful day.

Had a quiet morning and then a lovely afternoon in the pub with friends followed by a Dominos for dinner as a treat. Making the most of weekends as am 37+2 with our first! DH now gently snoring beside me - today was the last day for him drinking ahead of the birth so I was much nicer to him than I usually would be given he’s a few drinks down and I’m stone cold sober Grin now just lying in bed feeling baby kick and wondering how much life is going to change in the next few weeks....
