Just that really. It's hanging around Derbyshire and Yorkshire and it's just glided over our house (South Yorkshire) awesome sight!

I'm in London but I wish I could see it! I'm going to Google and imagine it soaring over the roofs of Stoke Newington. We have loads of swifts here - not as exciting, obviously.

According to Wikipedia it's not even seen in the UK!

I wish that I could see it but it's just too far to travel :(
However, I have been watching the Loch Arkaig ospreys web cam since they hatched. Amazing opportunity to watch a family grow.

No it's not a UK species - was last seen over Dartmoor 4 years ago and this is only second sighting of the species since then.
I'm a lapsed and old twitcher so this stuff keeps my blood pumping 😁

Yes! The clue was the horde of birdwatchers pointing at it. I didn’t get a good look - I was on a motorbike and the birdwatcher horde didn’t seem impressed!

Drove through the Peak District on Wednesday and there were loads of twitchers parked on the entrance to The Strines hopefully pointing their Binoculars to the skies.
Loving the fact this big bird has nonchalantly glided over my house whilst we were having a bevvy and chat with the neighbours over the garden fence 😁

I'm nowhere near unfortunately, I would love to see that! Vultures are fab.

Very very jealous. Just been for a walk in the hills on the off chance of seeing it and no wonder I didn't if it's pissed off over your house!

Very jealous! We were up the peaks today, t’was heaving with people but no vultures flying around!

It was indeed huge! Largest birds around where I live are buzzards. I have seen Golden Eagles on Skye and this vulture was like a gliding barn door - just effortless and amazing 😍

A gliding barn door sounds pretty awesome!
