Anyone with gallstone ? Advice

Recently I’ve been getting a dull ache in my back on the right side at the base of shoulder blade.
Only way I can describe it is
Like something stuck ?
I feel for some reason I have to burp, and it’s really loud.
It doesn’t go when I burp though
Could this be gallstones?
Are these symptoms anything like you get?

Or is it wind ? In my back ??

I never had a dull ache with my gallstones, always a full blown excruciating painful episode. See your GP.

Gallstone pain is excruciating and usually comes in the form of attacks that last for hours and then go away

granadagirl · 23/07/2020 22:36

Defo not excruciating
So I’m at a lost now

Thanks

I had dull persistent ache, Dr referred me to hospital and it was a gallstone. Thankfully never had a full blown gallbladder attack

Gallbladder now removed with one massive stone as a keepsake

I had pancreatitis due to gallstones OP and it was as you describe OP. Got worse overtime, but was never a stabbing type pain, was almost like very painful trapped wind.

This is how mine felt. Thought I had IBS for years. I'd be really burpy, and get achy funny I dismissed as wind/cramps

Looking back now, it was the start of gallbladder issues.

How many times can I say OP, OP?! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

@GuyFawkesDay did all your symptoms go away after removal? I have same symptoms with stones but no major attack!
