Can someone block you from a whatsapp group?

Having issue with neighbour, in that since we decided we might move she has dumped me as a friend which tbh given my mantra these days is 'anything for an easy life' I don't really mind at all. We were reasonably close as have kids same age, but while often entertaining she is a bit of a drama queen and occasional CF.

However I think she has now blocked me from the street whatsapp group? It's a very busy cheerful group with lots of neighbourly chat and memes and info (very useful in lockdown), but ever since a month ago when something happened I have only just noticed I have not had a single new message from that group. (massive dripfeed alert, nothing controversial, a friend of hers offered on our house which wasn't actually for sale, we are considering it. Neighbour would I assume love us to move out so her friend could move in so I think could be slightly ahead of herself).

Group is really mixed with some super friendly people, some older people, I never really (ever) comment in it anyway so it is all a bit odd. But it's one of those groups where there are tons of messages every single day and I sort of dip in and out of it. But now none.

Neighbour/frenemy is the sole group admin.

Yeah she’s removed you.

If she started the group or was made an admin of the group she can remove you.

that's so weird as I still seem to be in the group, i mean i can see it, I can see her. wow. that's crazy. but she still can have removed me?
