Family friendly box sets

Can anyone recommend a family friendly box set please? We need something else to get into now the holidays are upon us and sometimes don't have the time to invest in a full film so episodes around the 45/50 mark would be great! We love bake off, glow up, our planet etc and DCs are 10 and 7.

We have Netflix and Amazon Prime. What have you all enjoyed together?

@OhioOhioOhio There's a lot more challenges and they all live together. It's 1000% better! Just finished season 10 and working my way backwards!

I started watching Malcom in the Middle with Ds 14, 12 and 8. It's on Prime. We're all really enjoying it.

My two are 8 and 10 and have enjoyed all the 'Back in time for...' series on the BBC. The 10 year old really enjoys 'A House through time' also BBC - the 8 year old less so but will still sit and watch

Once Upon a time was a huge hit years ago here.
Modern Family.
Malcolm in the Middle.

After much discussion we started Nailed it, they loved it! The innuendo just goes straight over their heads thankfully Grin Please keeps the suggestions coming, I'm compiling a list

So glad they like Nailed It. There are some weird YouTube cooking/eating things if that's their thing. DD loves emmymadeinJapan who eats weird things! Like Swedish sweets or MREs from different countries. Sounds odd but she's great.

Another vote for Merlin!

My 11 year old loves the newly released "Alex Rider" on Amazon Prime .

gemdrop84 · 22/07/2020 08:22

We've been watching Nailed It, Mr Bean, The Floor is Lava and Ultimate Beastmaster. Ds (7) and dd (11) are enjoying Round the Twist on Prime, I loved it as a kid!!

Housewife2010 how violent/scary is the Alex Rider adaptation? Prime said it's 16+ so I haven't let my 11yo see it.

We got to Ep3 and mine found it too slow and grown up rather than scary. Just not interesting enough at their age. (10)

My daughter and son watched Alex Rider with their Dad and all really enjoyed it. I haven't seen it.
