What time does your 9yo go to bed?

I'm wondering if we're sending our 9 yo to bed too early. She generally goes up at 7.30 but reads until 9.

This thread has made me realise how late she goes to bed.

It is the same as my DD, but the difference is the 12 hours rather than 8ish actually asleep! Which does highlight the huge range in sleep demands of the individuals - even more so than the difference at different ages.

Term time it’s usually 8pm and during school holidays it's 8.30, sometimes 9.

This thread has made me think I need to think about dd1 going up later - currently she goes upstairs at 7.30, lights out by 8.30.
