Hi- my sons Apple Watch is missing/ stolen. I was wondering if he will get a notification on his phone if someone has found it and accessed it/turned it on? Thanks

I don't know if this will help, but you may find something on the site itself. I've always found it helpful.

It's Apple Australia, but I'm sure it will automatically direct you to Apple UK or wherever you live.

Is it showing up in his Find my Phone app on his phone (all our family devices show there)?

TBH though this may be of limited use. Years ago DH's phone was stolen, and I was able to track it to a specific address. We'd contacted the police as needed a crime ref no, and I gave them the (live) info I had, but they weren't interested, too insignificant really.

He won't get a notification. Look in Find My... on his iPhone and see if that shows where the watch is.

But there are limits - unless the watch is one with a live cellular connection and is still charged up, it'll only show where the watch was last time it was connected to the phone. Which might still be useful.
