Getting desparate now need simething to watch. This film any good?

It’s my favorite book, read many times. I watched the movie, horrific! They ruined it

Especially the faux Irish accents and the out-of-focus scenery. I put it in the same category as Far and Away

Yes, Gerard Butler and Jeffrey Thingie's accent coaches should be permanently blacklisted -- they both sounded like they came from Tuam via, like, Azerbaijan, Peebles and outer space.

Maybe it was the same one Tom Cruise had in Far and Away. And Julia Roberts doing that weird hissing thing in Michael Collins.

The book was miles better
