What's everyone been doing this weekend? We have chilled.

Friends round for BBQ.
Bit of cleaning and laundry.
DH took DCs out to see his grandparents from a distance today whilst I pottered on my own in the house, tidying up, watching TV and enjoying the peace!

Not much.

I've been trying to finish a blouse I've been making but the waist of it isn't doing what I want.

The girls have mostly chilled, Minecrafted & watched musicals including Hamilton and Moana.

Yesterday I worked for 13hrs.
Today I eventually persuaded DC to get dressed and do something other than watch tv, shouted at them too much, went for a walk in the park, moaned about stuff. DH went cycling in a country park with a friend.

Played F1, watched the GP sessions and race, had a lie in, read some books and now staying up late to see Neowise.

Friday (my day off) cleaned and tidied the house went to the gym. Had drinks with some friends.

Saturday we had a bbq with some family.

Today we have chilled out, Dh has done some gardening and we have relaxed.

Nice relaxing weekend really.

Built a hen house and did a big house clean - taking next week off while friends are visiting, can’t wait.

Hopefully getting chickens on Wednesday.

Saturday the kids had a movie day, I did housework and DH went to get his Mum who has been self isolating alone, she is now in our bubble. So good to see her.

We went to a local stately home today and explored the grounds. The cafe was shut so they had a pizza van in the garden making wood fired pizzas. They were awesome!

Chilled Friday ... Hampstead Heath picnic Sat ... lie in today, cleaned, ironed and bed changes.

Chilled ... slightly social ... perfect really 😁

Venice. We have been doing Venice.

Totally empty except for Italians. Lots to see. Amazing weather and a last minute bargain.

I cannot tell you how much better it has made me feel although I have added to my lockdown podge and now have a pasta paunch.

Omg Venice, what a brilliant idea! I’ve always wanted to go but my partner says it’s full of tourists. Might look into going.

We've spent the afternoon in the beer garden of a country pub, it was so nice, the food was perfect as usual and the kids loved having other kids to play with.

It made me realise how much I'd missed it.
