Suitable funeral reading for a nurse

MIL's funeral is next week and her nursing career was a huge part of her life. Is there a reading from the bible that anyone could suggest please as the one the vicar has suggested is a bit doom and gloomy?

Not from the Bible, but there is a poem called She Was There which is about remembering nurses

Sorry for your loss.
How about one of Jesus's healing miracles, like the little girl? Mark 5:21-43
Or one of the psalms, easy to find just open the bible in the middle, one there for any occasion.
Just have a little rummage! Hope all goes smoothly Thanks

My husband suggests Matthew 25 34:45

He’s a minister. No idea what the reading is, sorry!

Again, not a bible reading but ‘These are the hands’ is a poem by Michael Rosen. It was actually written for the NHS but always makes me think of nursing (I’m a HCP).

Thank you all, that's really helpful.

I second @Sexnotgender 's suggestion.

That's the "I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me... whatever you did for the least of these, you did for me," verse. Paraphrased a bit there.

Sorry about your mother in law. Flowers
