Which proverbs do you think AREN'T true?

As I've grown older, I've discovered that more and more proverbs ring true to me.

However, there's still a good few that I think are rubbish, either because they're false or offensive (yet people still say them)

For example:

"A woman's work is never done" (I find this one offensive)

"All you need is love" (nope!)

"Cold hands, warm heart" (wtf?)

"spare the rod and spoil the child" is not about using it to hit the child.

A rod was used by shepherds to guide their flocks, often away from danger. Using it with a child means to guide them away from harm and to keep them on a "path" rather than just letting them do whatever they wish.
