It was food delivery. It was due yesterday. The little bar thingy never updated to show the delivery was getting closer.
At 10.40 pm I phoned Asda to ask where the delivery was, to be told that the van had broken down, and if the order hadn't arrived by midnight (they allow for four hours after due time), the order would be cancelled and I'd receive confirmation.
I took screenshots up until 1am saying it was 'out for delivery'. I NEVER received a text, call or email.
This morning it still said 'out for delivery' and the little bar thing' was in the same position, so I took another screenshot then contacted them via Twitter.
I then logged into Asda to discover that the order had randomly updated to 'delivered'.
I phoned them. They had no information that the van had broken down, or that I phoned last night, or that I hadn't received it at all last night.
As I have been busy all week arranging my brother's funeral and helping my parents, I haven't been able to shop, so managed just before midnight to get an Iceland delivery for today, but cannot afford to shop next week unless Asda immediately.
They have issued me with a £10 eVoucher, for 'inconvenience' but that doesn't prove anything.
I have no idea where to go with this.
I am tired and upset. The only 'proof' I have is screenshots from this morning showing that the delivery was still not delivered (and was due yesterday). I cannot afford to lose £100.
