So most are going to hate me but I made a mistake. I’m married and had an emotional affair with a married man. Only small amount of physical happened. We work together very closely. His wife found out and he deleted contact with me. We have spoke at work and said we can’t carry on. We are professional at work and friendly still. It’s a few weeks ago this all happened and I started to get over him and then he messaged me a few times. The messages were general, just like how are you etc. He was the one who said he needs to move on and sort his marriage out so why go behind his wife’s back again to be in touch with me. I’m really confused and feel like he’s messing with my head. We won’t see each other for a while now as both on different holidays from work.
