Neighbour's music

My NDN is playing what sounds like spa background music. It's not very relaxing when I can hear it next door.

That's nice OP Grin could you play some whale noises in return?

wowfudge · 18/07/2020 00:50

I feel more like banging cymbals together tbh - who plays supposedly relaxing music too loudly at this time of night?

@wowfudge are they a couple? Maybe they're doing a bit of role play.

wowfudge · 18/07/2020 00:52

I might have a recording of DP snoring - that'd wake the dead.

Urgh - now I've got an image in my head that I really didn't want to have!

Oh I'll swap you! My neighbours all had a BBQ and they're still loudly chatting outside their gardens, a group of them.
I'd rather the music than the inane drunken laughing!
I'm contemplating asking what time they'll be done on our bloody neighbours' WhatsApp group!

wowfudge · 18/07/2020 00:56

It's just stopped, thank god.

Sawyers you have my sympathy - some people are very inconsiderate.

My neighbours like to do performance shagging, they like to make sure the whole street can hear them. The woman is clearly faking it. It’s a beautiful background noise when I’m watching Dr Who with my Dd of an evening.
When not performance shagging they make sure we can enjoy their terrible music in every room of our house. Sometimes we are lucky enough to get bad music followed directly by performance shagging

Sawyersfishbiscuits · 18/07/2020 01:05

I'm glad it's stopped OP. Yes I'm just hoping it'll stop here too, though now I'm wide awake and probably will be for a while!
I wish I was brave enough to shout at them.

This is the 24hr long insanity version:- just in case you accidentally leave your speakers next to the wall and go out tomorrow

I woke up early this morning with a headache. Made myself a coffee and took some painkillers, went back to bed. At 6.20 a TV or radio was playing loudly from the same bedroom next door. I loudly said, "Really?" and it was immediately turned off. DP said this morning he could hear the music last night from our attic. Strange as we've not been disturbed by them before.
