My daughter is arty. She wants a “pen” to do art on her iPad. I’ve googled to no avail. I have no starting point, no idea what we want

She’s 8 if that helps. Can so I’ve just tell me what I want?

Thanks

A stylus op

I have a Wacom one.
Cheap ones are ok, my kids have them from eBay, wish etc etc. It depends a little on what she wants to draw/ design . Amazon would be a good place to look and read some reviews I think

I Should’ve said, it’s her birthday present but also do you need a particular app? Is there some kind of art app. With a pen?

I got an Apple Pencil and Procreate, but it’s bloody expensive. You’ll have to make sure any stylus you buy works with your iPad. The Apple Pencil was over £100. (Love it though.)

She's after an Apple Pencil!
You'll have to look at the compatibility of her ipad to be able to work with it though.
You can get cheaper alternatives though depends what requirements she wants it for

Great. This gives me something to work with. I imagine some kind of graphicsy artsy app with a pen thing to go with it 😂 you may guess that this is something entirely new to me

All three dds have apple pencils and they do some amazing art on their iPads, you just need to download the right app for the sort of art she likes.

It’s also been a godsend with homeschooling dd3 because she wrote directly on the iPad and sent the work in.
