Dd2 (5) is still in the paddling pool. It's approaching 7:30. Friday night, First day of summer hols. She's having a great time but is probably loud but not shrieking she's just deaf and not wearing her hearing aids so talks loudly.
What time is reasonable to let her play til??
(My neighbours are super nice super polite & would never complain just don't want to be annoying)

No later than 8.30am if you were my neighbour in this situation of it being a super hot day.

Do they have kids? If they have kids who will be in bed then I’d say now (although maybe I’m unreasonable as this is when I put my kids to bed) but before I had kids I don’t think I’d of cared until 11ish

8pm?

Tbh if it’s not a common occurrence and she’s not screaming, I wouldn’t be bothered until about 10pm which is my cut off for most noise.

I'm inside with my windows open and I can hear a child screaming, it's not annoying me now but would do if I'd sat down for the evening for a rest after a ho week of work.

Different people have different tolerances for noise, hard to give a set time to stop.

Personally I love hearing my neighbours kids out playing, a bit of noise from happy children is lovely to hear.
I appreciate the points though about being mindful of younger children's bedtimes etc so just use your best judgement :)

I just wouldn’t mind this at any time. Kids playing is fine. Within reason! Obviously not at midnight but I wouldn’t think anything of it until I was going to bed!
