Have I got a gym infection?

I have a small gap between my back two teeth and dometimes I get an infection and end up on antibiotics. I had a filling 3 years ago and haven’t had one since but the last few days my gum has been sore, like a throbbing and it feels nice to brush the area. When I eat something hot or cold it hurts, but it doesn’t seem to be the tooth I don’t think, more of the gum around a tooth.

What do I do? It hurts :( will I just get antibiotics from the dentist?

Do you floss/use interdental brushes as these will help keep food from collecting in the gap and causing gum problems

Have you been running on diseased treadmills a lot?

Or bacteria filled rowing machines?

Or did you lift some Poisoned weights?

If yes- you do have a gym infection.
