Do you have a Chad Valley Fire Engine with water pump?

Where the fuck is the water tank and how do we fill it?

We were very kindly given one for our ds', we need to get a new hose for it, but we simply cannot find the god forsaken water tank!! Please help!!

Bugger, Argos don't have the water pump version. It says sainsbury on the battery cover if that makes any difference?

I know this seems like an unimportant question but ds1 has asd, doesn't really connect with many toys and I know it would blow his mind if we could work out how to make it squirt water.

Ours is from Tesco, and the tank is the clear box on the bottom.

We had one and the tank was at the back, but even when filled it didn't squirt very well

@LK0813 thank you for taking the time to reply and add pictures. Unfortunately our one is different.

I've attached ours, the hose is broken but it's easy enough to order tubing, the close up shows where the tubing should go and the little pump button.

@DerekTheDodo where do you mean at the back? I can't see anywhere?

Maybe the tank holder is missing and it's all fruitless

If you look at the ebay one, picture 5 the black rubber stopper comes out. You need a funnel or something small to fill it

It looks like the tubing is threaded through the fire engine and then into the tank (which is missing).

What a shame we won't be able to fix it, oh well. He's happy with it how it is, it's just me wanting more 😂

Do you pull the pump button off and fill it under there? We had a small version of this from tesco and that's what you did!

As Derek says, it's rather disappointing anyway! The tank on ours is so small it needs filling every few minutes!

@ItsSpittingEverybodyIn I can give that a go, but looking at the ebay one it's meant to have a tank at the back. I'm going to have a go at unscrewing it tonight when ds is in bed to have a look see. Worst case scenario is I get the glue gun out if I break it. As long as I'm careful he won't notice. 😬

I realise at this point it would be easier to buy the ebay BTW 😂
