I don't think it's fare for them to check credit on people trying to get a place to live. because for one they don't look at that you never been evicted they look at everything beside all that, Everyone don't have the best credit it's not right at all here I'm a mother and on section 8 and trying to find a place to live and got turn down due to my credit. I don't understand that what do that got to do with someone living. Yes I do understand that people don't pay they rent That hurt everyone else. what I don't understand it why you looking at all other and you see that a person never been convicted from a home but they do have other bills needs to be taken care of. beside a place to live some of us to pay cost of living, it's just not right to judge people by that. hospital bill phone bill or other loans what that got to do with living is what i need to know, These housing should be look for living make sure the person pay they rent never got evicted and trashing housing , that's what they should be looking for not all that extra. single mother that needs a place to live with a child everyone make mistake in life and they have to fix it true. But not stop them to get into a place to live. It's hard already to get things now but a place for a person to live it's just not right that needs to change. We can fix our credit if we don't have a place to live. like me trying to fix mines but i still need a place to live with my son. They should get people a chance not everyone is like other or knock them out of getting a place i feel that's wrong,

It's a difficult situation. I didn't have the best credit rating but I had a guarantor who owned their own home which helped me get a rental property. Have you got a guarantor?
