Due to a plumbing issue we have no running water today. What's the most efficient way to wash with 1.5 litres of water?

Start from your neck and work down, using a flannel that you’ve rung out well, and a little bit if soap.

Do you need to wash your hair?

If not, I'd split the water in to 3 x 500mls. Use 1 500ml as soap water and start soaping up and cleaning off with the clean 500ml of water. Face and hands first, ass and fanny last. Use 2 flannels and change your 500ml to the remaining clean water when it gets too dirty. You don't want to be pouring water, just washing with the flannel.

If you need to wash your hair? I'd try and find about her 1.5l of water and use 1l to wet and wash first (getting someone to pour over and in to a bucket and recycling it until clean) then use the other 500ml to rinse off again.

Is there a swimming pool near you? Could you go there and use the shower?

Bluewavescrashing · 17/07/2020 06:20

Swimming pools are closed here.

I washed my hair yesterday so just body.

Is it better to stand in the bath or on a towel next to the sink?

Did you wash your body yesterday? If so just wash under your arms and wait a day!

Face, hands, pits and bits. Done.

fartyface · 17/07/2020 06:55

Wait until tomorrow. Unless you are going on a date tonight

Praise be!! I found that DH had filled the kettle and 2 x 2l containers last night. So I had a reasonable soapy strip wash with warm water just now!
