hi bit of advice/perspective needed

Its been a long process- started applying for a new job in Jan and was shortlisted by a recruitment agency for one in Feb lets call this jobA
March- everything put on hold/stoped and I was extremely busy with covid etc in current role

June- JobA recruiter back in touch- 2x telephone interviews and 1x very detailed competency test and 1x traditional interview online, this interview was 2 weeks ago

A holding call was made last week. Since then silence and so I emailed the guy who is recruiting for an update yesterday and no response yet

Am I being ghosted? This is a senior role in a major company that you would have heard of. Is 2 weeks appropriate time to wait for any feedback these days

And just to clarify i absolutely would not expect a job at this level or with this type of big name brand to not provide any outcome so I am rather surprised

Any experience of similar or should i hold out a few days longer or call it a day on this one and move on?

I'd assume it's been offered to someone else and they're negotiating.

@Spam88 very likely thank you for your response,

I did think that I was probably a "final candidate" and I would have heard if I had been unsuccessful by now...so maybe I am a reserve...

I think Covid can make a difference as the decision makers could be away ill, or simply madly busy catching up.

However, I'd contact them now.
