There is a board in pregnancy choices for this where you might get better help.

No judgment here though. I have had to have one before.

Good luck with whatever you choose

I had an abortion years ago at 13 weeks. It was absolutely fine.

Went in, sectioned off cubicle with full privacy. Was given a gown and walked through to theatre. I was anxious about the GA but as soon as it was in I was out cold. Woke up afterwards feeling a bit groggy and with a big pad on, a nurse came and offered me water and tea. Was offered some toast after I'd had the tea.

After about 2 hours I felt ok to stand up and go to the toilet. Then I was allowed to get dressed and go home. Everyone was completely kind and calm. Felt no judgement at all.

I was absolutely relieved that it was over, and very grateful that I had the option. Had period pains and bleeding for a few days and that was it.

Good luck OP. Thank god we live in a country where this is pretty well available to us safely and on the Nhs. This was at the Norfolk and Norwich hospital btw, can't comment on other places.
