Tax credits "potential payment"?

Just been looking at my tax credit notice (I'm on an automatic renewal so I don't think it's actually processed yet) and there is a "potential payment" of £900 - it says until my actual income is known (I'm employed but made a small SE profit last year) then they'll decide on it. I've submitted everything correctly and it's all in the notice - does it mean I will get the payment? I'm so confused!

Probably not until they can see what your actual income is/was? Looks like they have worked out maybe from previous. I wouldn't take it as you're going to get that Incase you don't.
