Cheap IKEA Blinds

I'm thinking of getting a couple of the IKEA £3/£5 paper blinds as a temporary measure just to block the sunlight out of the conservatory when the dog is in there. He sleeps in there at night, not during the day.
The conservatory is north facing and doesn't really get hot but the sun streams in the window first thing.
It's being demolished in the autumn so as I say it's a temporary thing.
What I wondered is will the white ones cut out the glare or do I need the black ones?

You’ll need the dark ones. I have a very window heavy, south facing kitchen and tried the white ones to keep the sun out, but they didn’t make much difference. I now have the dark grey ones and they do the job brilliantly.

We had the white ones as a temporary fix and they worked fine they let the light through as they are white but no glare as such. They kept a fussy toddler DS happy as it was "to brwite" without them.
