Hi all! I’m having my first baby and I’m due in 2 days time - I know it’s completely normal to go over due but I am having NO SIGNS at all ... no Braxton Hicks, no plug loss or show or no signs that my body is even preparing! Any tips to help speed things up or calm myself down ? Thank you 💗

Pretend your due date is 14 days later like my DS did

I had no signs at all with my first, but the evening before labour started I watched a really funny film and laughed till I cried.
My DM said, ‘You’ll start your baby off,’ and sure enough, at about 3 a.m, my waters broke.
Not sure I’m recommending this strategy, just saying!

I had no signs whatsoever, the mw couldn't do a sweep at 40w because my cervix was so high and firmly closed and then my waters went at 40+3! Couldn't believe it!

I also had absolutely no signs that anything was happening 2 days before my due date. Then on the morning of my due date, my waters broke. My baby was born the next day. It'll happen when it happens, and you really have no control over it. Take a bath. Try and nap as much as possible. It's not long at all till you're cuddling that delightfully squishy newborn.

Thank you all! Honestly reading that others had no signs at all too is helping as I feel my body has forgotten it's meant to be pushing a baby out soon haha ! sweep booked for Monday and hoping I don't need it x
