Do your DC age 9/10 know most swear words?

Just that really. Tonight my son age 9 and I were watching Outnumbered (he loves it) and swearing came up. There was a joke about the ‘K’word, and suddenly my son said he knew what it was - so I asked him and he replied c.
I was really really shocked. I didn’t expect him to know the word at all but it turned out a girl in his class had told him earlier this year. I’ve never heard him use it and it was clear he didn’t know what it means but said he understood it was very rude and not to be repeated.
Can’t quite grasp it tbh and feel strangely upset but maybe I’m being naive as to what kids actually know at this age. If it makes any difference, we live in a city and he goes to a large but academic state primary. All his classmates seem streetwise and I get that city kids maybe grow up quicker.

We are a pretty non-sweary household Confused

Yeah I'd say so. I'm not sure she knows cunt, but most of the others she knows. She knows she isn't allowed to say them though!

I have a no swearing rule in the house, however one of my kids has a mouth like a sewer!

Picked up swear words at school from about 7. And hates my rule. Constant battle.

My 8 yr old is the youngest child and knows them all....mostly from watching fairly inappropriate comedy TV shows with his older siblings.

He would never use them though and is as charming and polite a child as you can imagine.
