Audible on Amazon Alexa

My oldest has always enjoyed listening to an audio book as she goes to sleep so we registered for Audible and play it via an Alexa Dot each evening.

Now the youngest also wants to listen to as troy to go to sleep but I can't work out how to listen to different stories in different rooms at the same time.

Is this even possible?

If you’ve named your Alexa devices differently you should be able to I think. Mine are named upstairs and downstairs. I need to rename them to some thing more interesting!

They're named 'dc1 alexa' 'dc2 alexa' but if dc2 is listening to something and dc1 turns hers on then dc2 changes to playing dc1 iyswim

I know to do this with music you have to pay more but I can't see anything about it for Audible

If the older one is old enough to get their own email/Amazon account that should do it

Possibly yes, but I think, somewhere there might be Family Sharing. I'm not sure.

In theory the two should be working independently of each other. Have you got the Alexa App? if you touch the book in the play section you can then select which device but you would have to do it via the app rather than just say "Get My Book"

Try it next time you can, send 1 book to 1 device and the other to the 2nd?
