Found in a pack of Waitrose pork schnitzel with lemon, thyme and gruyere crumb, so there are some crumbs stuck to it. It’s hard.

What does it taste like?

Some sort of herb sprinkled with sea salt?

It’s too big and hard to be a clump of herbs, I should have put something for scale but it’s the size of half my thumb. I haven’t tasted it due to what I think it looks like! The pale bits are crumbs.

I’m not sure it will turn out very interesting. I have no clue what it is except it’s not pork, lemon, thyme, gruyere or crumb! I haven’t cooked the escalopes because it’s definitely something which shouldn’t be in there and has a faecal kind of look about it. 🤢

God knows OP but looks vile.

I do wonder sometimes though what we all expect from processed meat and what may or may not be in it. I'm sure we are all eating all sorts that has simply made it in the mix in a smaller piece/pieces. There is always going to be something dubious in when you see how it's done and at what speed/to what target.

No they’re stuck to it, bits of herb crumb.
