No teacher/school bashing please we all make mistakes
Got a letter addressed to parent of mini Hopping Green from a school he isn’t going to (have told the school by phone and email and also the LEA).
The letter starts
IMPORTANT - this letter contains sensitive information and must be managed carefully
Parent pay activation letter for
Address
Then there’s the parent pay login codes to set up an account for the child at school
So what should I do?
Tear it up, bin it and forget it
Tell the school
Tell the LEA
Forward it to the right address
Something else

I realise it’s quite a bad GDPR breach but it doesn’t affect me really and if this child parents have been sent our letter it doesn’t matter as he’s not actually going there

Send it back to the address it came from with a note saying “incorrect address for recipient”.

Dont have the envelope (ripped) but I can put it a new one, don’t mind using a stamp
