Booking a UK holiday?

Contemplating booking a UK holiday for October. Is this a good idea?

I'm torn between staying safe and needing a change of scene. Looking at an airbnb/cottage so will still be able to socially distance if we need too.

Do I go for it or do I wait and see?

We've already booked and paid for an air bnb in aug. Can't wait for the change of scenery.

We’ve booked to go to Devon in August after our flights to Spain were cancelled by the airline. The 6 hour car journey to get there will probably be the least ‘safe’ part of our trip.

I’d go for it. You can stay safe and have a change of scenery. We’ve just been away for a week in the UK in a self catered cottage. We did lots of local walks and were more rural than we are at home. Did one big supermarket shop when we got there. It was lovely and relaxing.

Just make sure you can cancel for free within a given time period.
