Having just full on sobbed to Tee and Mo's Bag full of love, I was wondering what irrational things make you cry? Hormones have a lot to answer for! Grin

National anthems 🙄......and it doesn’t have to be my national anthem.
Sooo embarrassing.

Most things just now.

Quite randomly. I’m pretty sad all the time.

Brass band music - particularly Nimrod.

New Years Eve makes me cry, just before midnight. It's pretty embarrassing.

This is so specific I think it might out me if anyone I've been to gigs with sees it but...confetti being dropped at concerts. I don't know why but it always makes me a bit watery-eyed! I think it's something about seeing the reaction from people, always seems to result in huge smiles and people reaching up to grab it...I don't know, I just know it's weird Grin I can usually blink it back and hide it but I saw Biffy Clyro in 2013/14 and the way they did it made me sob!

Seeing the Battle of Britain Memorial Flught and, in particular, the Lancaster bomber, the most beautiful and iconic aircraft ever built, along with the Spitfire. Every time I see them it brings to mind the extraordinarily brave crews who flew, fought and died in them - volunteers, every single one of them. Reduces me to tears every single time

Beekeeper1 · 13/07/2020 13:32

'Memorial Flight' even! Must learn to proof readGrin

Cuteness makes me cry. a little boy on TV today had done a word search sent it to the Queen so she wouldn't get bored during lock down, bawled my eyes out

A crocodile of nursery children lined up to cross the road and drivers stopping on both sides patiently waiting for adults to shepherd them across, two by two. Had a little weep.

orangejuicer · 13/07/2020 18:04

Aw these are all lovely and not embarrassing at all!

Everything at the minute even though I feel perfectly happy within myself! Watching the people on gogglebox are particularly setting me off as there's something about seeing friends who love each other (whether friendship or romantic love) that right now is making me cry!

Me too, but at midnight when I hear "auld lang syne" even any time I hear bagpipes. - not in the least embarassing! Be proud of your tears! I just have to get an inkling of Janis Joplin's Bobby Magee, The Proclaimers' 500 Miles or listen to poor Billy Joe jumping off the Tallahasee Bridge and I am a goner.

Dc coming out of school and seeing their parents. The way their little eyes light up when they see their mum or dad waiting for them. Bizarre but often makes me feel emotional, maybe because I always had a childminder and my mum very rarely picked me up from school.

Also dc in school plays. Not even my dc! There's just something about watching little dc entertaining adults on a stage that's so cute.

Old people holding hands in the street.
