Fitted wardrobes- tips needed please.

Has anybody had fitted wardrobes and any tips?

I have had fitted wardrobes, but they were already there.

The space needs to be what works for you. In both houses had wardrobes that took a whole wall of the bedroom. Most of it was rais for hanging clothes. I am more of a shelf or drawers person, so there was a lot of empty rails, and stuff stacked on the wardrobe floor.

Don't get mirrored doors, unless the mirror is of good quality. One full length mirror is easier to live with.
