it's driving me mad.

ive tried mouthwash, drinking more water, chewing gum but nothing works.
i can swollow before i talk and then while i'm speaking i can feel my mouth filling up and i have to stop speaking to swollow.
i.ve started covering my mouth when i'm speaking because i'm embarrassed.
thinking about calling the doctor but i don't know if theres
anything he could do
desparate for any advice i'll try anything

Its quite normal for your mouth to fill up with saliva as you talk.

How much are we talking? How often do you have to swallow?

Do you take any medications? Theres not much that can be done about hypersalivation however there can be an underlying cause such as reflux or certain medications so its worth having a chat with your GP

Chewing gum stimulates saliva flow, its not going to stop it. Drinking water again is not going to stop hypersalivation.

Botox into salivary glands. In extreme cases. Have a chat to GP and see if you can see a specialist. (Oral Med /OMFS) May be quicker private given current situation but GP should be able to point you in the right direction.
