DH took it upon himself to try out some filler he purchased online on the wooden door surround of the spare bedroom. He added two big patches and has now blended them together in a large strip. This stuff is meant for filling in cracks in walls afaik, not wood! The wooden surround is cream and this stuff is white so it stands out.
I'm wondering if it can be washed off or sanded off otherwise I'm going to have to paint the entire door surround white along with the others here to make it match. Property is currently for sale and this is an eyesore, potential buyers will see it straight away. Don't know why he didn't test it out somewhere less obvious
