Does anyone know Stokenham, Devon?

Hi all! Booked a place in Stokenham in Devon for DH, DD (nearly 8) and me for a week.

Bit worried that there might not be enough to occupy us (let's face it, DD) for a week, especially if we're not lucky with the weather.

DD has ASD, so ideally I'd like to pre-plan each day; does anyone know the area and could give us some suggestions of things to do?

Erm there’s not much to do in the immediate area. The beaches at Slapton are shingley although the Start Bay inn does the best fish and chips. Blackpool sands is not sandy either
