Weekend Plans?

So good to have the sun back here in Cornwall ☀️☀️☀️DH cooking sausage pasta tonight which has become one of our favourite meals. DH & I are both working tomorrow ( we only returned this week in his case & last week in mine) so DD will be at DM’s. Chippy tea Sat nite. At some point I will remove my grotty lockdown toenail varnish & moisturise my legs which are dry & scaly ugh! Oh & shave my armpits! I have a half legwax booked & had a trim recently which was bliss! Excited for Sunday as it’s forecast 20 degrees so we’ll hopefully go to a surfing beach for DD to bodyboard & we might have lunch at a favourite pub. Possibly do a BBQ in the evening. Happy days!

2 nights B&B in an isolated, beautiful coastal part of sunny Devon 2 hours bus journey from the city I live in. Going to sit on the beach on my own (there will be space, it’s not tourist friendly) and gather my thoughts all day, then walk to the next village for fish & chip takeaway. Don’t anticipate any social contact, weird that I feel this way after lockdown but I want some ‘me time’

I want to draw a line under Covid phase 1. Mental health was beginning to show the strain. Will deal with phase 2 if/when as best I can.

Sat morn - meeting friends in local country park for a walk
Sat afternoon - food shopping delivered
Sat eve - chill out and watch tv.

Sun - nothing planned

Getting my hair cut & coloured tomorrow, then going round to my friend's house, sorry garden in the afternoon for a few drinks, can't wait!

Nothing planned on Sunday at the moment, but sometimes I like it that way!

We expect an IKEA delivery - an new bed for DD. So that's my weekend sorted.

Trying to encourage DC to come for a walk with me tomorrow afternoon

Meeting cousin in pub garden tomorrow evening, small pub but huge garden in out village, has been quiet all week,

Sunday, having a friend over for a BBQ as she is leaving for pastures new next weekend.

Weather is looking good. It has been the most social I have been since March, and is a blip.

It's my DGM birthday tomorrow so after we've done her shopping we are going to hers for a takeaway. Brother, SIL and nephews are going too and it will be the first time we've seen them in ages so will be lovely.

Then DC are staying at hers so nice lie in Sunday morning then housework.

I'm off work until Thursday so it's a big long weekend for me. Will be a mixture of housework, shopping and finishing sorting out the bedrooms.

Hopefully the weather will be nice to get plenty washing dried. Chippy tea on Saturday followed by a movie or two.

Sunday if the weather is nice we are going for a long walk along the beach.

Have a load of toys, games, dvds and clothes to advertise on gumtree. It's going to be a busy few days 😁
