John Lewis - 8 stores going

Not great for fans of instore shopping.

I didn't know Solihull had one. I've never been there as usually when we go to Birmingham its for the theatre/concert or a dance workshop.

My nearest store in Newbury is going which is sad. It will leave a large hole in the shopping centre.

I too am sad about the Watford store. JL has a cachet and it’s a shame to see it leave the town. Plus, we shopped there a lot. Clothes, bras (only sodding M&S left now in the town and they do not understand bra sizing), furniture, kids stuff, make up.

Also, it’s awful for the staff.

Swindon.... gutted! It literally was the best shop there! Cribs causeway now for me, hate it there too
