Mattress recommendations please - needs to be firm

Hi,

Just that really. Currently have a bog standard medium/firm memory foam mattress and have had it for 7 or 8 years. It's fine, but it's certainly had it's time.

Definitely need a firm mattress, but not rock hard. I can't sleep at all on a soft mattress, even if initially it feels comfortable. I need the support.

I have to have a memory foam pillow, which looks like a brick 😳 but it keeps my bad neck at bay and could do with a new one of those too.

We're upgrading to a king size, but not super king, as they don't feel cosy enough to me. I like to feel like I'm actually sharing a bed with DP and not that they're at the other side of the room 😂

Was going to ask about Eve, Emma and the like, in the title, but didn't want to miss a hidden gem, so thought I'd keep it more general.

So what are your recommendations?

TIA

Ikea Hovag firm. I’ve got them in all the beds in the house and they’re so good. Wouldn’t buy any other mattress now!

I bought the IKEA HIDRASUND just a couple of weeks ago and it’s a dream.

I would recommend testing some out if you possibly can. Mattresses are so personal and what works for one body might not work for another.

We got this a couple of weeks ago. I have back issues and I've been so much more comfortable with this, it's amazing (best mattress I've ever had).
