In an ideal world, IKEA would have their old size European queen mattresses in stock (160x200). But they don't. We desperately need to replace the mattress.
Going down size to a standard King is just not an option as we already feel squished, but going up to a superking is mega spendy.
So.....
I need to look for somewhere I can get a sprung superking mattress and base (don't care if divan or slatted) where we can go and try out in store. And which would all come in under £500.
There is the option of ordering online a 160x200 mattress but I won't be able to try beforehand. All the Simba/Emma companies give you a trial period but don't do this size or are mega mega bucks for the superking
