Thread 6 here we go.

Post a few lines of a song from the 70s, 80s, 90s & we will try to guess the song & singer/band.

@ProseccoBubbleFantasies Thank you. I am enjoying this as a "taking a break" from the everyday stuff, mainly evenings when I can chill out for a bit. I do see it as just a bit of fun, and I love seeing a lyric and it plays in my head! A song will pop up somewhere & I mentally "bank" it for later now 🤣.

Me too. It’s been a lovely distraction through some iffy times. I’ve slowed down a bit as need to think of some new songs! I’ve still got a cheeky Cure song outstanding that nobody guessed.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm starting to run out of new ideas for lyrics!

I’ve just worked out that at six and a half threads with 40 pages on a thread we’ve done 260 pages of lyrics - no wonder we’re running out a tad!

I don't think the original OP has been around since the first thread.

Sure there will come a time when we'll have to concede that this is done, but don't think any of us are quite there yet.

Think there's still more lyrics to be guessed... I've enjoyed escaping into the music too! Very inconvenient when work and general life gets in the way
