... Really feels like lockdown now!

Nothing is working at all.

Whole fridge of food now ruined.

My phone is on 20%... Ahhh

It's scary how to prospect of no Internet or TV is so alarming!

I presume you've checked that someone has phoned in the powercut? I once reported a landline outage. Turned out that out of over 100 houses noone else had called it in.

PS Just in case you haven't - the number is 105.

Your fridge will be fine if you don't open the door too often.

Vickmo · 08/07/2020 21:03

What have you got in your fridge? Most stuff will be fine especially if you've kept th door shut.

BrieAndChilli · 08/07/2020 21:14

Most stuff in your fridge will be absolutely fine, even things like milk will be fine if you aren’t constantly opening your fridge. Not like it’s boiling at the moment either.

doadeer · 08/07/2020 22:35

How long can you leave things like milk and meat (I have a 17month old who will be consuming them)

Yes it's affecting 180 customers on the power UK website. They think it might be resolved after midnight.

Our flat is 24 degrees if that makes a difference to the food in the fridge?

Keep the fridge closed. Milk etc will be fine

Icanflyhigh · 08/07/2020 22:50

Will all be fine in the fridge, dont worry about that. Frustrating more than anything but it will be fine x

Lucky you weren't around in the 70's.
